Denise P., a native of Chicago, Illinois began her love of singing at the early age of nine at her home church as one of the youth choir directors and continued serving in the Music Department until relocating to Texas. Alt-hough gospel music is her first love, she en-joys performing all genres of music.

She performed with several Gospel, Rock and R&B bands, then later launched her solo career as a Jazz artist performing musical styles of Billie Holiday. Her “Lady Day” per-formances received rave reviews from pa-trons all across the US.
