Getting a young start, David has been a professional musician for over 60 years, becoming an excellent church musician, absorbing jazz, blues, soul, R&B..., as he lived in the world of music. David's first professional musical job was at The New Thing Club, with The Guys and Dolls, in Fort Worth Texas, in 1965!

David's bluesy, jazzy style as a keyboardist affored him several years as a mainstay in Las Vegas, giving memorable performances at The Union Plaza, but his gigs with the S. C. Band also took him to a hallmark destivation, Tokyo Japan. Out of his many musical engagements with bands and at venues, David also has fond memories of playing with Johnie Taylor at the Longhorn ballroom. David has contributed to the signature sound of The Cooper Jazz Project for several years.
